Nintendo has an odd habit of announcing new Nintendo Switch On Line games both late in the day and the day before they drop and it appears that trend is continuing. Announced via Nintendo’s official YouTube channel on March 6th, 2025 we are getting two new Game Boy games for the service tomorrow.

For the month of March the games in question are Donkey Kong and Mario’s Picross and Nintendo describes them as follows.

Donkey Kong (1994)

This title is an action puzzle game for Game Boy, which was released in 1994. Following Donkey Kong, who abducted her lover Polly, Mario runs through various places such as building construction sites, big cities, forests, and ships. With actions such as back somersaults and large wheel jumps, you can cross difficult points, move the jump tables and ladders to create a road to the goal, while clearing more than a hundred stages in total.

Mario's Picross (1995)

This title is a puzzle game for Game Boy, which was released in 1995. The numbers displayed in the vertical and horizontal rows mean “the number of squares that can be shaved continuously.” We scrape the mass according to the number, and from the result, guess the mass that can be further shaved. If you shave all the squares correctly, the picture is completed and the stage is cleared. We aim to clear all 256 stages recorded.
