Update: It looks like MLB The Show 24 will not be leaving Xbox Game Pass this March!

It’s the start of the month, and we know what that means?! Games leaving Game Pass have been announced. The last announcement of games leaving the subscription service took away eight titles, and this one will be no different. Except in the games that are leaving, that’s different, obviously.
Of course, we’re not lacking for things to play, with the excellent Avowed releasing recently, as well as the surprise release of Game of the Year contender, Balatro dropping onto Game Pass last week too.
All games marked to leave, will leave Xbox Game Pass on 15 March 2025.

The most notable departure, for me anyhows, is Lies of P, the excellent Souls Like that sees you embody Gepetto’s puppet in a Soulsy twist on the Pinocchio story. With the recent announcement of the Lies of P: Overture DLC coming this year, there’s probably more people looking at the game again too, which is a shame. Would 100% recommend it though, even if you have to buy it!
This month also sees the continued exodus of the Yakuza games from the service. I’ve still not managed to get to this series myself, and with the latest release of Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, there’s just more and more of these games appearing on my backlog.
I expect it won’t be long before we hear about what games will be coming to Game Pass in March, though we know that one of them won’t be MLB The Show 25.
