Kaizen Game Works, the studio behind the 2020’s Paradise Killer, have announced the release date for their upcoming game Promise Mascot Agency.
The announcement was posted on the developer’s social media accounts earlier today, with a jazzy new trailer exclusively releaved at IGN Fan Fest. The game is scheduled to release on PC, Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch on April 10th, 2025.
Here’s a quick summary of Promise Mascot Agency, in case you have no idea what game we are talking about.
Play as exiled yakuza member Michi who is banished to a small town and his assistant manager Pinky☆ as you revitalize the currently defunct mascot agency. You’ll find an eccentric cast of characters with their own personalities, strengths, and weaknesses. Ever thought those mascots had a bit of depression or enjoyed the rated R things in life? These sure do! Help them with work life balance as you offer them employment with benefits and bonuses should they join your agency. You probably won’t get that Tofu Block to stop crying but you can feel good knowing you helped them get a paycheck.
Mascots aren’t the only characters you’ll meet even if they are the focal point. As manager of the Promise Mascot Agency, you’ll also meet mascot helpers who are on hand during events in card based gameplay. There are other humans who live in town who will become part of your inner circle be it the mechanic or your local neighborhood bartender.
Revitalizing the town won’t be easy as you’ll also be working against a corrupt politician pocketing the towns funds but you’ll have a salary man by your side! Drive your Kei Truck around as you destroy politician signs, recruit mascots, and help town members with day to day events.
The star studded voice cast for the game was announced last month, led by Takaya Kuroda, the voice of Kazuma Kiryu from the Yakuza video game franchise.
Promise Mascot Agency has been in the works for over four years and they mean business. So will you once you start working with Pinky☆ on April 10th!
