Avowed Xbox Preload Now Available On Xbox And PC

With only a week to go until the full release of Obsidian’s new RPG epic, the hard working people at the storied studio have unveiled preloading of Avowed on Xbox and PC from today!

The next first party release from Xbox, excitement for Avowed has been growing. In an recent interview conducted by MinnMax, the Creative Director of the game Carrie Patel, clarified that Avowed would release with three performance options. Quality at 30FPS, Performance at up to 60FPS, and a Balanced 40FPS mode for those with 120Hz displays.

Thanks to preloading, we also know the file size of Avowed on Xbox Series consoles and PCs; 74.8GB and 72.GB respectively.

Game Pass users can search for the game on their consoles or mobile devices using the Xbox app to start preloading the standard edition of Avowed. If you can’t wait that long, you can get five days early access when you purchase the Premium Upgrade of Avowed for £17.99/$22.49.

Obsidian have done an excellent job highlighting elements of the game in the run up to its release, with the last one being an introduction to the game’s character creation system at the end of January.
