Weekly Game Launch is here to tell you what games are releasing this week. There’s a whole load of new titles dropping this week, but not as many ‘big’ releases. Probably a bit of a relief after last week’s onslaught of big titles. Will you be picking up any this week’s new relesases?
Weekly Game Launch: 3 – 9 February
3 February – Spirit Swap: Lofi Beats to Match-3 To (PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series)
Samar is a young witch working the spirit-swapping night shift in the eastern outskirts of Demashq. A recent spike in spirits crossing over from another dimension breaks the chill atmosphere of their night shift, so with her trusty familiarZ by her side, she sets off into the city to find out what's happened. 4 February – Rogue Waters (PS5, Switch, Xbox Series) – already available on PC
Rogue Waters is a Pirate Tactical Turn-Based Rogue-lite. Play as Captain Cutter, commanding your ship and crew through procedurally generated encounters to seek revenge. Recruit, train, and upgrade crew, use powerful sea creatures, and engage in dynamic naval and melee combat to gain the upper hand.

Puzzle your way through a steampunk world of precision platforming and roving robots!
5 February – Mimi the Cat: Meow Together (PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series) – already available on PC
Mimi the Cat - Meow Together is a puzzle game that blends cuteness and strategy in a relaxing and fun experience. Play solo or in local co-op mode to help the kittens solve puzzles and find their cozy beds.
5 February – Journey of Johann: Grasslands (Xbox Series) – already available on PS4, PS5
Journey of Johann is an action-adventure platformer with puzzle elements. Make your way through levels and a boss with different challenges and obstacles.
5 February – Punch Monk (PC, Xbox Series)
Punch Monk is a challenging puzzle game with 50 phases of incremental progression. As players advance, new mechanics are introduced, increasing the game’s complexity.
5 February – Rift of the NecroDancer (PC)
The NecroDancer’s back in a brand new rhythm game spinoff! Help Cadence navigate the modern world while repairing the rifts that have torn her life apart. Do rhythmic battle via rift mode, minigames, and boss battles!
It’s also scheduled for a Switch release, but this does not have a date as yet.
6 February – Ambulance Life: A Paramedic Simulator (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)

Spacepunk Survival is a multiplayer, first-person shooter game where you must survive hordes of deadly aliens in a derelict space station, all of that with beautiful and dark retro aesthetics.
6 February – Sworn (Early Access)(PC)
SWORN is a 1-4 player co-op action rogue-like. Explore and reclaim a fallen Camelot from the reign of a corrupted Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table.
It will also release on PS5, Switch and Xbox Series later into 2025.
6 February – Under Defeat (PC, PS5, Switch, Xbox Series)
Under Defeat is a vertically scrolling shooter where you control a helicopter capable of moving in eight directions. It’s a sleek, streamlined experience with just two buttons"”fire and bomb"”making it easy to pick up but hard to master. And there we have it for another Weekly Game Launch. Lots of smaller, lesser known games this week. Rogue Waters seems really interesting to me, along with Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 of course! What will you be picking up?
