The Battlefield franchise has been around for a long time and has covered so many eras. How do you move forward with a franchise that has a history this deep? Dice wants to figure that out with you, the community.
Multiple studios are contributing to making their next game. DICE will be responsible for the multiplayer part of the game. Such as destruction systems, class play, vehicles, and gadgets. Pretty much all the things that make Battlefield the game it is.
Motive is working on multiplayer maps and single player mission content. Motive is the team behind the Dead Space Remake.

Ripple Effect will be working as a support studio to help bring the franchise to a new group of players.
Criterion will be focused on the single player experience. Criterion has worked on Battlefield 5 as well as many installments in the Need for Speed and Burnout franchises.
