It’s not long until the next iteration of the Nazi shooting Sniper Elite series parachutes onto PC and consoles. With Sniper Elite: Resistance, the series’ familiar protagonist, Karl Fairburne, has been put into the reserves for British marksman, Harry Hawker.
Sniper Elite: Resistance, takes place at the same time as the events of Sniper Elite 5, and sees Harry Hawker fight alongside the French resistance as they try to find out more about an “insidious Wunderwaffe” that threatens the outcome of the war.
Ahead of the game’s release on 30 January, developers Rebellion have released a new ‘Features’ trailer showcasing what to expect in the upcoming shooter.

Key features include:
- Play solo or online co-op.
- “Unparallelled” sniper mechanics, stealth and tactical combat that the series is known for.
- Brand new Propaganda missions – discover Propaganda posters hidden in the game’s campaign levels. From these, you’ll unlock a new game mode where you play as a Resistance fighter in quick fire challenges against the clock.
- Wealth of weapon customisations.
- Complete your missions how you want to, includes side objectives, optional kill list targets and different infiltration and extraction points.

There will be a season pass for Sniper Elite: Resistance that promises to bring additional content to the game later in the year.
Sniper Elite: Resistance launches on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series. It will be available on Game Pass on launch on 30 January.
