Kaizen Game Works, the developers of the critically acclaimed investigation/adventure game Paradise Killer, has announced the main voice cast for their next title, Promise Mascot Agency.
In a post made to their social media accounts, the UK based Indie developer revealed their next game has quite the star-studded cast! Alongside a number of VA veterans from various anime series, Promise Mascot Agency will also feature the voices of video game director Swery, and former PlayStation president Shuhei Yoshida. While these castings are likely to prove interesting, the most exciting for many is the inclusion of Takaya Kuroda, the voice of Kazuma Kiryu from the Yakuza video game franchise.

An interesting detail to arise from all this is that the game’s voice director couldn’t resist Takaya Kuroda’s “sexy voice”! It also happens to be impeccable casting, as Kuroda is voicing the game’s protagonist Michi, an exiled Yakuza member looking to uncover the mystery of what really happened (sound familiar?).

On its Steam Page, Promise Mascot Agency is described as a “mind-bending open-world narrative adventure mascot management simulator”. As Michi, you take on the surreal role of mascot manager, organising a bizarre band of mascot characters for different jobs. Explore the strange town of Kaso-Machi in your upgradable Kei truck, solve it’s mysteries, and do your best to keep your mascots under control!
Promise Mascot Agency is releasing on PC (Steam), Xbox One and Series console, PlayStation 4 and 5, and the Nintendo Switch in 2025. No release date has been set.
