This Boss is a tricky one. When you think you’ve escaped his grasp, you haven’t. Let’s jump right in on how to kill the bastard.
When you see him pull his pike back in preparation to swing, start dodging backwards. This attack sets off a ground pound earth quake like move that will require you to dodge backwards four times. Sprint towards him quickly after to get a couple of quick attacks in.

When he throws his spear at you, brace yourself for three follow up attacks. Dodge backwards to avoid his swings each time.
When he starts swinging at you, keep dodging sideways until you are for sure he is done attacking. He will stab his pike in to the ground and use it to jump attack you when you think he has finished. Once he has completed this move is your opportunity to strike.
When he throws his spear, it is vital that you dodge sideways. As the spear boomerangs back to him causing 50% of your health to be lost.
Tip
When he starts talking, that is your opportunity to land the most damage. Freezing him when he is standing still is the best time also. If you freeze him mid attack, it will not stop him from completing combos he is in the middle of performing.

My best advice to give you, is to go in there not expecting to win. Just dodge all his moves for you to study them yourself. Once you’ve done that, you will feel more confident on when to land your strikes the next time you fight him. Don’t be too disheartened by dying in his stage 1 form, because the more you master stage 1, the more likely you are to be in stage 2. That’s right, he has two forms.

Once he transforms, he will strike you from quite a long distance, dodge sideways to avoid this stab. This is his deadliest attack, so be sure to avoid those jabs. Most of these attacks in phase 2 of the fight and the same type of moves from stage 1, just slightly evolved. Which is why I said, if you mastered phase 1, you should have no problem in phase 2 of the fight.

Congratulations, you finished this incredibly difficult fight!
