Its time to face your first boss. Lingxuzi is a giant wolf that has very predictable moves, but if you are stuck, lets get you out of them weeds.

When you first enter the temple he will immediately pounce and hit you with two swift strikes. Don’t go in there thinking you can charge a heavy attack. Dodge those two attacks then swiftly pop off a couple of light attacks on him. In my experience with him, he will attack with two hits, so always expect a follow up if he attacks.

If he Squats backwards as if he is about to howl, watch out, he is actually going in to bite you. Dodging side ways towards him is your best bet. You can follow this up with getting a couple of light attacks in.

When he sprints around in circles there are a couple of moves that could follow up. The main one to be cautious of, is when he looks like he is about to catapult himself towards you. Slow down, watch his movement, dodge left or right when you see him jump halfway towards you. If he hits you this attack can deal devastating damage.

If you see him jump on a building, what he will do is pounce on the building he originally jumped off of the first time. He is about to pounce on you. It can be kind of hard to dodge. There are two ways I dodged this attack. Sprinting sideways and dodging at the last second, or using your freeze ability.

Tips

Charging heavy hits aren’t so useful in this fight. The only time I recommend doing this is when you see him sprint in a circle and start to charge. You can also do this when you see him licking his wounds, however you will do more damage and possibly get the chance to stagger him if you hit him rapidly with your basic attack.

The best time to heal is when he runs in circles, do this the second he starts running, because once he stops to charge attack you he will swiftly pop off a couple of strikes.
