Weekly Game Launch is here to tell you what games are releasing this week. Still a fairly quiet release week though, given we’re only just starting to defrost from the Christmas and New Year break that makes sense. Still, some new notable titles to snaffle up, including the return of Donkey Kong!!
Weekly Game Launch: 13-19 January
15 January – Perfect Ninja Painter 3 (PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series)
Perfect Ninja Painter 3 is colorful puzzle platformer, players embark on a vibrant adventure with three ninja characters who must bring life and color to a world shrouded in grayscale. Armed with paintbrushes, the ninjas are tasked with coloring entire levels, solving puzzles, and overcoming obstacles that require a clever mix of creativity and strategy.
15 January – Runny Bunny (PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series) – already available on PC
Play as a frantic little bunny as you dash between floors, walls and ceilings collecting power dots and yummy carrots. Mazelike stages will take you from grassy wilds to twisted caverns and deadly laboratories. The bunny moves in lightning quick straight lines and clings to walls and ceilings, but you’ll still need to strategically maneuver him around traps and enemies to keep him safe from harm.
15 January – Sokorobot (PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series)
Sokorobot is a puzzle game where you control an ingenious robot clearing and creating paths to reach the button that unlocks the next level. Combining classic puzzle mechanics with a futuristic setting, Sokorobot challenges players to think ahead and execute plans to conquer the levels.

16 January – Donkey Kong Country Returns HD (Switch)
Donkey Kong is back and barreling through the jungle! Help DK and his pal Diddy Kong in 2D platforming action as they chase down the Tiki Tak Tribe to recover their precious banana hoard. With 80 levels across nine worlds to explore, two-player co-op to change up the action, and Modern Mode for extra hearts and other goodies, you’ll be running, jumping, riding, and rolling through enemies on an adventure fit for a Kong!
16 January – Professor Doctor Jetpak (PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series) – already available on Android, PC
In this physics-based, pixel art, precision platformer you will join Albert Einstein’s digital remains on his whacky quest to save the World. And to beat gravity.
16 January – Things Too Ugly (PC, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series)
Clock in for the night shift at TEREBRO INC., 1986. As a newly promoted Risk Assessment Data Processor, your job is simple: safeguard the company’s future. But the deeper you dig into the archives, the stranger and more unsettling the details become.
16 January – Vanity Fair: The Pursuit (Xbox One, Xbox Series) releases on PS4, PS5 on 23 January – already available on PC
The background of the story takes place between 2004 and 2024 in an imaginary world view. The gambling agreement you signed in order to realize your movie dream will be gradually involved in the whirlpool of “Vanity Fair”. When you are in a dilemma, what should you do? How to “choose”? When facing difficult “choices”, should you protect yourself or help others?

17 January – Dynasty Warriors: Origins (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)
