Attention Savage Planet fans! In a new feature over on the PlayStation Blog, Alex Hutchinson (Creative Director at Raccoon Studios – previously Typhoon Studios) has been talking about some of the new features in their new game; Revenge of the Savage Planet.

Revenge of the Savage Planet is co-op, sci fi adventure game that builds on the first game – Journey to the Savage Planet – by adding habitat building and customisation and four brand new planets to explore. Well, we thought it was four but as the blog states: “Today we're revealing a fifth, secret planet filled with some... not so natural creatures, while members of our team share insight into the design philosophies behind its creation.”

Based on arcades, game shows and pinball machines the team wanted to include something brand new to the mix alongside the weird and wacky alien environments gamers loved from the first title.

We speak to Slappi's character through this dark and dangerous lair he created. Of course, we still have all the weird and wacky alien creatures we're known for." - Lead Designer, Steve Masters

All of this can be enjoyed in couch co-op, crossplay co-op and, if like me you struggle to get people in the same timezone to play with you, single player.
