Set to be one of the biggest releases of 2025, Capcom is giving the fans one last chance to play Monster Hunter Wilds before its release on February 28th. In a video released earlier today, Ryozo Tsujimoto, producer of the series, welcomed everyone to “the year of Monster Hunter Wilds” along with some exciting news. The announcement of the Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta Test 2!
This second beta test will be available from February 6 to February 9, and February 13 to February 16. Fans will have access to all content from the first Open Beta Test (check out our impressions HERE), with added improvements based on player feedback. The Monster Hunter Wilds team also added a returning monster to hunt: Gypceros. Hunters ought to be wary of a blinding flash produced by the monster, stunning attackers. Players who take part in this Open Beta Test will earn rewards that will be redeemable in the main game.
2025 is going to be a big year for releases, across hardware and software, and Monster Hunter Wilds is just the tip of the hunting spear!
