Marvel Rivals has hit the ground running with a whopping 10 million players in only 72 hours of being released and it has only grown since then. I’ve personally have been having a blast playing it. I finished all the release content and reviewed the game giving it an 8.5 on Gamer Social Club.
We finally know new details on what to expect from the new season when it drops on Friday, January 10th. The Developers posted on their Youtube Channel an 11 minute video talking about all the new changes.
We will see new characters added to the roster. The video features gameplay of Mr. Fantastic and Invisible woman. We can expect to see these two characters on January 10th. However the other two have not yet been confirmed for January 10th. So we can expect to see them at some point throughout season 1.

What is in the battle pass? The Battle Pass will have 10 new skins with Wolverine, Loki, and Scarlet Witch taking the spotlight in their developer video. The battle pass costs 990 lattice ($10). You will also have the oppertunity to earn 600 units if you complete the whole thing. But no worries if you are worried about not having time to finish it, the battle pass never expires.
This battle pass will have twice the content as its launch season, with 10 new skins in total.
With the new season, that will mean new updates, buffs, nerfs, ect. So lets go over who is getting buffed and nerfed.

What can we expect from the changes coming to ranked play?
- Everyone is dropping seven division in Ranked after reset and wipe.
- There will be a new rank of Celestial that sits between Grandmaster and Eternity ranks.
- Marvel Rivals will be posting pick rates and win rates every half season which will likely indicate coming nerfs and buffs.
