Indiana Jones & The Great Circle has arrived and with it comes a lot of adventures full of exploring and investigating like only Indy can. Vatican City is the first area of the game and it is filled with all kinds of puzzles and mystery. Of course it also is filled with safes to crack.
For those of you stuck finding a code, or just simply want the answers quickly, this guide will have you covered. We will break down where all 7 Vatican City safes and chests are as well as the code to unlock them.
Belvedere Courtyard Chest
The first safe is as soon as you get the Clerk Key and enter Vatican City. Directly infront of you will be a large tent with the chest inside. Inside a drawer in a desk with the tent you will find a ticket with the combination on it. The code is 5238. Inside you will find the Splinter Smash Adventure Book.
Vatican Cellar Chest
You will find this chest during the A Savage Discovery fieldwork mission. After defeating a Nazi soldier at the end of the mission you will get a note off his body that will contain a clue to the chests lock combination. The code is 1136 and you will find the Street Scrapper I Adventure Book inside.
Sistine Chapel Safe
The Sistine Chapel safe is part of the "Secret Of Secrets" mystery in Vatican City. You will need to find the Astronomical Symbols located underneath the statues in the room. Once you've learned the symbols you will find a chart in the drawer of the desk. Match the symbols to the chart to find the code. The code is 4471 and you will find the Cutman I Adventure Book.
Vatican Museum Storage Room Safe
You can find the Vatican Museum safe within the garden storage room in the restricted area of the Via Di Belvedere. Unlike the other solutions this one isn't found on something you find. Instead, find a lamp in the room and turn it off unveiling the code. The code is 7171. Inside you will find the Drinking Horn Artifact.
Borgia Tower Safe
In order to get to the Borgia Tower Safe you will need to get to the conclusion of the "A Nun In Trouble" fieldwork mission. After climbing to the top of the tower and rescuing Sister Giuliana she will give you a key. Taking this key to the Borgia Courtyard and unlocking the door will get you into the safe room.
Here you will have to decipher a Polybius Square Puzzle to find the code. This is also part of the "Father and Son" mystery. The code for the safe is 5873. Inside you will find some backstory of the Nazi's looking into Indy and his father.
Excavation Site Safe
The Excavation Site safe is found inside the guard house that sits atop the excavation site. The safe is also part of the "Signs Of Trouble" fieldwork mission which is started by finding a note for Gina in the Sistine Chapel's Altar.
While you can find the safe before doing the mission you won't be able to find the code without starting it. The note above contains the code needed. The code is 1891. Inside contains money as well as a note to complete the mission.
Museum Wing Chest
The Museum Wing chest is found deep into the "A Date To Remember" mystery. During the mystery you must find out the code through a manifest. Deciphering the code within the shipment date will unveil the code. The code is 6380. Inside you will find the Vatican Medicine book.
