It's been quite the journey but Enotria: The Last Song is making its long awaited Xbox debut.
Made official moments ago by developer Jyamma Games, the souls like Enotria: The Last Song after a long delay is finally coming to the Xbox platform. Why the excitement for a game that's already been out on other platforms for months now you might ask? Well for those who don't recall, Enotria was delayed on Xbox due to issues with getting certification and storefront issues with Xbox themselves.
We saw it listed as coming to Xbox this week on the Xbox store, but with no word from the developer themselves we had our skepticisms that it was real. Fortunately we now have that confirmation and fans of the game on Xbox can now take a stroll through Italian folklore as well.

It will be interesting to see how it runs on Xbox as well. When all these issues were going on and I spoke to the developers they actually said the game was running best on Xbox which made this all the more frustrating for them. Whether that was just PR speak or not I guess we are about to find out.
As for how we got here, it's been one of the more bizarre roads I've seen a game travel in quite some time, especially for the Xbox version.
Strange Timeline
Here's a quick rundown of just how weird a situation this has been:
- At the beginning of the year the game was scheduled to release on all platforms in 2024.
- In March at the Future Games Showcase Jyamma showed a new trailer that omitted Xbox marketing. They later that month came out and said the Xbox version was delayed to focus on the PC and PS5 versions for an August release date.
- In May, less than 2 months later, they announce a delay to September 19th. This delay also means the Xbox version will come out same day.
- September 4th they announce the Xbox version is delayed because of certification issues with Xbox.
- December 10th they announce the Xbox release date as December 12th.
All in all it's been a roller coaster for Xbox fans who wanted to play this game. How it's received now months later only time will tell. Have fans moved on or will the interest still be there?
For what it's worth it appears to be a rather good game. While reviews were mixed our own review gave it an 8 calling it a "breath of fresh summery air on a playbill often filled with familiar but musty and dank acts."
Enotria The Last Song will be available on Xbox Series S/X on December 12th. It is already available on PlayStation 5 and PC.
