We knew Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 was a big title from Activision, Call of Duty’s tend to be; but now it’s confirmed, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is now the “biggest Call of Duty” ever.
That’s according to a post on Twitter by the official Call of Duty account that details that Black Ops 6 is the number one Call of Duty title for:
- Total players
- Hours played
- Total matches

We already knew it was the biggest Call of Duty ever in terms of sales when Satya Nadella, Microsoft CEO, revealed that Black Ops 6 had the best launch weekend in the franchises history. Coupled with today’s announcement relating to player engagement, it does seem that Black Ops 6 is a winner across the board.
Now, with big new Xbox Game Pass subscriptions, sales and player engagement, it would seem that the potential fears around the purchase of Activision-Blizzard-King can be laid to rest (at least from a business decision perspective).
To celebrate, Activision also announced that an extra-long double XP weekend would be beginning on Wednesday, as well as confirming the launching of new game mode Prop Hunt, and playlist options Stakeout 24/7, and Hardcore Stakeout 24/7, also from Wednesday.
