Fortnite continues to be arguably the biggest game in the world in 2024 and part of that popularity is the insane collaborations Epic comes up with. With their latest upcoming season "Remix" they look to crack it up to another gear.
Announced today, the Remix season will take place in the month of November with new maps rolling out each week revamped by some of the biggest musicians in the world. The season technically started today with "The Prelude" with the first official map launching November 2nd. Who's helping with the first map you might ask? None other than Snoop D O double G.
That's right week one Snoop Dogg will be remixing "The Agency" into "The Dogg Pound". As part of the remix we will see the return of the boogie bomb that triggers Snoops smash hit "Drop It Like It’s Hot.”
Week two will see Eminem remix "The Grotto" as "Spaghetti" which is a take on his Mom's restaurant in Detroit (if you know you know) and will feature a “Rap God” machine gun that spits out lyrics to his song known for its machine gun esque rap style.
Week three will be Ice Spice's turn to crank up the music with a Y2K themed Shark Island. And finally week four will feature a map paying homage to Juice WLRD, who died from a seizure in 2021 when he was only 21. Epic said in a statement that they worked closely with his mother, estate, and label, Interscope to bring the map to life. “Jarad always loved to play Fortnite, it was more than just entertainment for him, it was a way to connect with others," his mother, Carmela Wallace, said in a statement.

The season will culminate on November 30th with an event called "The Finale" however Epic is tight lipped on what this will entail. Knowing Epic you can expect something....well epic. One thing we do know is anyone who attends the finale event will receive a free cel-shaded outfit.
