In a blog post on MonsterHunter.com, Capcom has confirmed that Monster Hunter Wilds will be getting an Open Beta Test at the end of the month prior to it’s release in February of 2025.
There are 2 date ranges for the Open Beta Test; with PlayStation Plus subscribers getting Early Access on from; PT: Monday, October 28th 2024 8:00pm – Wednesday, October 30th 2024 7:59pm, and standard PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC players getting access from; PT: Thursday, October 31st 2024 8:00pm – Sunday, November 3rd, 2024 6:59pm.
For everyone excited for Monster Hunter Wilds, you’ll be thrilled to see that the Open Beta Test includes the full character creator from the game, which you can use as many times as you want. It has also been confirmed that your character can be carried over into the full release!
Players can also experience the very beginning of the story, including the tutorial hunt. There’s also a secondary hunt – the Doshaguma Hunt where you can switch between two different weapon types and get a better feel for the game in action. NPC Support and Multiplayer is also included in both quests so you can get help if you’re struggling, or team up with some friends!
