If you’re into very difficult metroidvanias and you’re not on PC, we’ve got some good news for you. Red Candle Games confirmed via their Twitter/X account today that their parry based, Taopunk (that’s Taoism with Cyberpunk aesthetics) metroidvania Nine Sols is coming to consoles.
As if that wasn’t enough, if you’re an Xbox GamePass subscriber, there’s more good news. When it’s released on the 26th of November, it will drop on GamePass day and date as well.
Nine Sols was released on Steam on May 29th, 2024, and was well received, garnering a 95% on Steam out of over 11,000 reviews and scoring an 83 on Metacritic. When it drops on November 26th, it will be coming to PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch so whether you’re on last gen or current gen you’ll get to enjoy this indie hit.
