SEGA have officially announced that the next iteration in the comic business simulation series, Two Point Museum, will be opening its doors on 4 March 2025.
Announced last month, Two Point Museum sees aspiring curators dive into the world of museum management, designing and refining to build the ultimate guest experience.
- Curate and design your very own museum.
- Explore on expeditions to discover new exhibits.
- Enhanced management – provide guest tours, optimise prices and organise staff zones.
- Excite guests by providing top-notch entertainment and useful exhibit information.
- Manage mayhem – care for carnivorous plants and deter thieves whilst maintaining your museum.
- Creative freedom – build internal walls, customise item colours, splash paint and lay carpet as you lovingly arrange each prehistoric fern
With today’s announcement of the release date, we also learned info on the Two Point Museum digital deluxe version of the game, the ‘Explorer Edition’, as well as the Sonic Pre-order Pack!
The Explorer Edition gives players five days early access to the game (so 27 February 2025 by my reckoning), as well as some other gubbins, including a pop-up challenge museum to discover rare exhibits, unique decorative items and 5000 kudosh (the series’ currency for purchasing new items for your business).

The Sonic Pre-Order Pack is available to anyone who pre-orders the base game, or the aforementioned Explorer Edition. By doing so, you will get a range of Sonic themed gift shop items, wallpaper, flooring, costumes, decorations, and displays for your museums.
It’s great to see the Two Point series continue, and I’m excited to get hands on with Museum next year. Though I still wish (hope), they’ll do a Two Point Theme Park in the future?!
