Wildkeepers Rising Is Coming To Steam Early Access

Have you ever been playing Vampire Survivors and thought “this is great but it really needs some Pal-like-monster’s in this world that I can collect and mold into friends”. If that’s the case I have a game announcement you need to check out.

Lioncode Games, the Canadian indie studio behind Mech Armada has announced today a game called Wildkeepers Rising. Described as an RPG rougelite Wildkeepers looks to combine Bullet chaos based elements of a game like Vampire Survivors and the crazy collect the cuteness style of something like Pokemon while also using a beautiful hand-drawn art style.

According to the games steampage the game will let you “Tame monsters and slay waves of enemy hordes.” Lioncode Games describes Wildkeepers as offering snowballing power curves and satisfying monster synergies, as your Guardians grow stronger and stronger on a bullet of outlandish mobs at the heart of the ever growing popular Bullet hell genre.

“We’ve seen survivor games adopt some twists since the original recipe, integrating mining, guns, and god boons; Wildkeepers further innovates by adding adorable creature collecting and party synergy to the dopamine rush and replayability of games like Vampire Survivors or Death Must Die” says Sergio Garces, Lioncode Games Director.

While there is no official release date to be found yet the game will be launching into early access, which will aim to get player feed back on the game devopment first before launching fully at some point in the future. For console players, as of now no ports to console have been indicated but that could always change after the full PC release.
