During a presentation with Investers on Tuesday September 17th, EA Entertainment President Laura Miele basically let the cat out of the bag that yes, the third installment in Cal Kestis’s adventure is currently being worked on.

Laura said in the presentation "This impressive track record includes of course the Star Wars Jedi games, where over 40 million Star Wars fans have connected with Cal Kestis and his arc of becoming a powerful Jedi” She continued "Respawn is working hard to bring the final chapter of this thrilling story to players."

While it’s good to know that Respawn is hard at work on the third installment it’s worth noting that Stig Asumussen, the director of both 2019’s Jedi Fallen Order and 2023’s Jedi Survivor has left the company and formed his own studio so it will be interesting to see what direction the third game goes in.

Back on February 24th, Electronic Arts actually confirmed that the sequel to the critically acclaimed first 2 games was being worked on, but there is no word on a release window of the third game.

EA just launched the PS4 and Xbox One ports of Jedi Survivor this morning along with a patch for the PC port that removed Denuvo DRM. The patch also applied bug fixes that the PC port greatly needed. The PC port managed to only garner a 78 on Metacritic largely due to performance issues, while the Xbox Series and PlayStation 5 versions garnered an 86 and an 85.
