You are what you eat, has never felt more relevant than Chronicle Games newest game Strange Seed, a creature evolution RPG thats a bit of a throw back to Search for Eden and Spore.

Chronicle Games new game Strange Seed is a third person 3D adventure game with a bit of a difference. You start off your journey as a little blob with not much going for it except the ability to consume the DNA of other creatures. Using your powers of consumption you can evolve parts from other creatures to create some weird and wacky abilities that you will need to solve some Metroidvania type puzzles. Need to get up to that platform? Go and find something that can fly. What will happen if you give a crab chicken legs? Or even hands? Maybe you can hold those pistols one day. What about a hat? With over 100 million combinations in Strange Seed, let that little imagination run wild.

Chronicle Games have released a trailer to show off some of their crazy creations on their YouTube page. There will also be a demo of Strange Seed available on Steam from the 26th of September.

Chronicle Games have previously dabbled in mobile games and have a couple of 2D platformers available on Steam. Chronicle Games are a team of 3 that work remotely. This is something we are seeing more often in this ever-changing digital landscape, and it always impresses me that people can be so far away from each other but be on the same page.
Don't forget Strange Seed will have a playable demo available on Steam on the 26th of September.
