New updates just in time for the season
EA has given a second big update for College Football 25, and this one come right before the start of college football kickoff weekend. Although not as big as the first update, this one still gives fixes to some of the communities issues. So let’s get into some of the things that got updates today.
Gameplay
In gameplay they have given players the ability to change the “Switch Stick”. You can change it from “No Delay”, ” Slight Delay”, “Large Delay” and “Disable Switch Stick”, all these can be found in the options menu now. They have increased the responsiveness of the pass block sliders for user and CPU. Updated CPU play calling and Coach suggestions in all modes. Increased the effectiveness of Pass Committing vs Trick Plays and the risk of run committing from Man Coverage. They also added 11 new formations to certain teams playbooks. Florida, Ball state, Cincinnati, Louisville are some of the teams with these new formations.
Dynasty
They have finally given players to edit ratings in Dynasty Mode. You will be able to change the ratings of NONE NIL players and recruits. One of the key features from NCAA 14 is back with ‘Mass Subs”. You now are able to Mass Subs for Online and Offline Dynasty games when playing against the AI. So in the event you are up by 20 plus and want to get that 2nd string some playing time, you don’t have to make the change one by one. EA also did some tuning to the awards system. They have also introduced a new AL super sim timing logic for in game simming.
More Updates
Road to glory saw some updates as well, you now have the ability to audible regardless of what position you are in when lined up on the field. The re-tuned starting attributes for half backs and cornerback archetypes. College Ultimate Team received some fixes as well. They fixed an issue that was causing Milestone Progression to display incorrectly. Fixed a navigation issue on the live events tab, along with resolving a issue where players were getting error when trying to add item sets.
We also see more new uniforms for certain teams. This time we see UAB, Tennessee, ECU, Western Kentucky, Ohio State and a few others get updates to their uniforms. We also see new NIL players get added to the game as well. So far EA has kept their promise to continue to update this game throughout the season.
