Well, it’s that time of year again, folks. If you’ve been patiently waiting to see what Nintendo may have in store for you, then I have fantastic news for you. Nintendo has just announced this morning that on August 27th, 2024, it will be having its next partner showcase.
As if that wasn’t enough, this showcase will be running back to back with its Indie partner showcase. Start time for the event will be 7am Pacific time with the Indie direct taking place first. As has been the case for all of its events this year, Nintendo has also made note that there will be no mention of the Nintendo Switch successer at either of these events.
With the life span of the Switch seemingly drawing closer and closer to its end, is there anything in particular that you are hoping to see at this event? Will we get some more remakes of classic games or great 3rd party announcements? Nintendo themselves have Emio The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club launching later this week as well as The Legend Of Zelda Echoes Of Wisdom later in the year, so there’s a good chance we see both of these in some capacity.
