A slower week for easy achievement / trophy games, but there’s still a few new ones to wet your whistle on. Mangavania 2 will be the shortest this week and includes stacks on both Xbox and PlayStation.

Mangavania II is an old school pixel style action platformer game. You play as Yuhiko, a young ninja who goes to the underworld to find a cure for his brother. The achievement list is quite simple for this game. There’s 20 levels in total and you earn one achievement for every level completed. The only really tricky levels are 10 and 20 which consist of boss fights. For the other levels you must make it to the green lantern that is found at the end in order to move on.
As you progress in levels, so will the difficulty. At the start you can jump and slash enemies with your sword. Later on you will gain a bomb ability along with a rope dart. Enemies that shoot projectiles can have these turned against them with a well timed sword strike.
You can choose to play each level in this game normally or to attempt each level in speedrun mode. The latter is not needed for achievement purposes. This game is fun and my top suggestion for fast game of the week.

Thermonuclear is a sci-fi roguelike strategy game. The game features a turn based grid system with procedurally generated levels. It’s similar to X-Com. You must use your cyborg weapon to defeat all kinds of enemies ranging from soldiers to mutants.
Start off with playing the tutorial and you will move through the different levels until you complete all the levels on the map. This is considered a mission. The ultimate goal from an achievement perspective is to complete a hive. You will earn the other achievements along the way. When you finish a mission you return to a hub. Here you can upgrade your cyborg in several different way. Upgrade exploration bonus, Base Damage, Base HP and purchase new skills. You will need to complete quite a few missions and upgrade your cyborg before taking on a hive as they’re quite difficult. From the hub you can select to world map and decide what mission you want to take on next. They vary from Easy to Very Hard. If you’re a fan of turn based strategy you may find this one to your liking.

Dadish is a dad and a radish and he’s on an adventure to platform his way to saving his kids. This is the 4th game in the Dadish series and this one introduces 3D elements. I actually find this part annoying as depth perception in these types of games is usually off. And when you die you restart the level so it is frustrating at times.
For the full completion you will need to finish off the campaign as well as pick up stars hidden on many of the levels. If you happen to miss a star it’s no biggie as you can go back and replay those levels.

This is another reskinned Aery bird flying game from EpiXR. You fly around as a bird and pick up the required number of memory shards to move onto the next level. Simple achievement game. Just finish the 10 level for your completion.
