Evil Empire outline Roadmap for The Rogue Prince of Persia

As announced on Twitter with more details on Steam, the team over at Evil Empire have laid out update plans for The Rogue Prince of Persia spanning the rest of 2024.

The Rogue Prince of Persia launched into Early Access on Steam in May of this year, and (as to be expected from the team over at Evil Empire) been receiving regular gameplay updates.

Some of the features coming to the game as mention in the Steam post are:

  • Weapons Update: Coming in September, the team are looking to expand playstyle options by tripling the amount of weapons in the game. Alongside these new weapons will be a rework of the Speed Boost mechanic.
  • Medallion Rework: Medallions are vital to achieving high damage numbers in The Rogue Prince of Persia, and the mechanic looks to be getting a major overhaul to make it make it easier for players to engage with.
  • New Features: Alongside the Medallion rework will be two new Gameplay features in the Rescue mechanic and Bestiary.
  • Biomes, Bosses and Story! Teased in the blurb of the “Mother of All Updates”, it looks like November will be a good month to be a player.
