Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP Release Date Moved Up

In a rather rare move the upcoming remake of cult classic Lollipop Chainsaw Repop is getting a new release date, however instead of a delay it’s coming early, at least in some regions.

The Remake of the 2012 original Lollipop Chainsaw which was supposed to release on September 26th has now seen its release date bumped up to September 12th in North America, Central and South America as well as Europe. It’s release date will remain the 26th in other regions. It should also be noted this is only the digital version of the game and not the physical.

No reason was given for the move but with the game apparently being ready they must see the 12th as a better window to try and get out of the way of some of the other big hitter in October.

For those unfamiliar with Lollipop Chainsaw it is an action-adventure hack-n-slash where you play as a cheerleader zombie hunter who fights through a fictional California high school that released on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Are you planning on grabbing your chainsaws and going back to school? If so you may want to make sure your chainsaw is good to go sooner rather than later!
