Following another chock-a-block week last week, we finally get a reprieve with a slightly smaller number of new releases this week!

30 July – Sword & Fairy Inn 2 (PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series) – already available on Nintendo Switch and PC

Manage a restaurant and inn where heroes and former foes gather in friendship from across time and space!

31 July – Deadlink (PS5, Xbox Series) – already available on PC

Deadlink is a cyberpunk FPS with roguelite elements. You’re the first operative to be recruited to the experimental Deadlink project. Pilot an autonomous combat shell, fighting your way through cramped slums, twisted labs, grimy warehouses, and sleek office buildings on a mission to thwart the schemes of the most powerful corporations in the world. 31 July – Death Noodle Delivery (PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series) – already available on PC

Welcome to Death Noodle Delivery. Deliver the noodles, don't waste a single portion and most importantly... try not to die.

Ride your hoverboard and deliver your boss' noodles, but be careful: there are plenty of dangers lurking in this cyberpunk city on the brink of collapse, from AI drones to bad drivers, I'd keep your eyes on the road.

31 July – Roots of Pacha (Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series)

Be a part of a thriving stone age community. Discover "ideas," domesticate crops, befriend animals, and contribute to the growth of your village. Play with friends in co-op or explore the early days of civilization in single-player.

1 August – AirportSim (Xbox Series) – already available on PC

1 August – Quriocity (PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series) – already available on PC

Quriocity is a sci-fi city builder game set on a bare alien planet very similar to Earth. Build and upgrade a wide variety of units to extract resources and provide services, such as maintenance, food production, education, entertainment and many more.

1 August – Star Wars: Bounty Hunter (Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series)

In this classic third-person action-adventure, you’ll become Jango Fett, Prime Clone of the Grand Army of the Republic, hired to capture a deranged Dark Jedi.

1 August – Tensei (Xbox One, Xbox Series)

Leap and fall over and over in the style of a brush flowing across paper,
and go on a relaxed journey into the sky. Leave the hectic routine of life behind for a chance to enjoy this deeply immersive experience.

1 August – Thank Goodness You’re Here (Nintendo Switch, PC, PS5)

This comedy slapformer unfolds over time as the players’ exploration and antics leave their mark on the strange town of Barnsworth. With each completed odd job, new areas of the town open up, stranger and stranger tasks become available, and the clock ticks towards our salesman's big meeting.

2 August – Aero the Acro-Bat (Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series)

The retro platformer game will have new features like save states, rewind, and a cheat menu for infinite lives and health.

2 August – Cilla (Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series)

Cilla is a dynamic 2D side-scrolling shooter that immerses players into the complex narrative of humanity's evolution and the endless struggle for survival at any cost.

2 August – Closer the Distance (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)

Closer the Distance is a slice-of-life sim that tells a deeply emotional story about the connections between family and friends in the face of tragedy. Unearth long kept secrets, repair strained relationships, and help your loved ones move on.

2 August – Sugar Tanks 2 (Xbox One, Xbox Series) – already available on Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5

This is an intense, fast-paced, and super-sweet tank shooter game. Defend your sweet home world from evil grey tanks, trying to sap all the colour from it. Unlock more heroes with their own sweet perks and upgrade your tank.

2 August – The Mortuary Assistant: Definitive Edition (Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series)

The Mortuary Assistant: Definitive Edition is a horror mystery game developed by DarkStone Digital. This new version will see a release on new platforms offering new Haunt Events, an endless embalming-only mode, new bodies, additional lore, a new Valentine's Day seasonal event in February, performance improvements, and more.

Any of these taking your fancy. There’s a couple I’d not heard of, but my eyes are on Star Wars: Bounty Hunter for sure!
