Like A Dragon Studio Teases Next Game

Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio must never sleep as they are already teasing their next project mere months after their last game Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth shipped.

This weekend was the Anime Expo in LA and one of the events at the expo was the Essence Of Fandom event hosted by the SEGA studio. At some point during the event the studio teased their next project according to those in attendance and added “We can’t tell you what kind of game it is, but I will tell you, you’ll be surprised.”

At first glance the initial reaction to that quote would be that it’s not another Like A Dragon game but fans later confirmed that the studio was referring to a new Like A Dragon game. Could they perhaps be hinting at taking the series in another direction as far as genre is concerned? We will have to wait and see.

The studios latest effort, Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth released January 25th to rave reviews from both critics and fans alike. By March it had already amassed over a million sales and has become the fastest selling game in the series long history.

It’s safe to say between that news and today’s tease that we can expect a lot more Like A Dragon hitting our gaming platforms.
