Rumors have been ablaze lately about the possibility of the original resident evil coming back from the dead with reports of a pc version being rated in Europe and I’m happy the report they were true, at least if your on pc.

At some point around 1AM PST GOG listed the original resident evil on sale at $9.99 along with the a bundle including resident evil 2 and 3 for $24.99. At the time of this writing 2 and 3 are listed as “coming soon” and the listing itself nor the twitter/X page for GOG have given any indication of when that might be.

Now for my Xbox and Playstation friends I’m not sure I’d get too excited. GOG is famous for bringing back older games like this(with no DRM involved might I add)and there’s no indication at least as of now that that these are coming to console.
