Glyphs of Gitzan is a block sliding puzzle consisting of 50 levels. Your objective is to maneuver glowing stone pillars, each displaying shapes, to illuminate tiles on the floor according to the correct layout. As you advance through the levels, you’ll encounter challenges such as moving unlit stone pillars onto glowing square tiles on the floor to activate them. Spikes also start to come out of the floor and you will need to avoid them to complete the level. Accidentally hitting a spike will force you to restart your current level from the beginning.

This game was a fun and relaxing puzzle game and I definitely recommend this one to achievement hunters.

Primal Survivors is a fun action roguelike shoot ’em up. There’s been quite a few of these game releasing lately, but Primal Survivors does it well. Designed with busy gamers in mind, it offers quick 10 or 15-minute matches. Opting for the 15-minute game mode is recommended as it allows you to earn more bones for permanent character upgrades and unlocks for different game modes.

In each match, defeating waves of enemies unlocks cards which grant special skills to enhance your character. To fully complete the game, you’ll need to successfully navigate a 15-minute Primal Spirits run and a 15-minute Cursed Spirits run. For a smoother experience, investing in character upgrades from the main menu is advisable to strengthen your abilities.

I had a great time playing Primal Survivors; it’s definitely a fun game!

There’s a stack on Xbox and Windows. Both games are currently on sale or you can get an even better deal buying the bundle on Xbox and Windows.

Block Tower TD is a fun tower defense game. You get to construct your world with blocks, choose which resources to gather and place defence towers around the map. Different map blocks contain different resources and some of the defence towers are stronger depending upon the environment that surrounds them.

Throughout the game, as you face each wave, you earn XP and gain the ability to select upgrades whenever you level up. For those looking to expedite their progress, the accessibility menu provides options to simplify gameplay. Additionally, within levels, you can increase game speed to hasten the completion of waves.

Pogo Stick Champion (Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5)

Pogo Stick Champion is a challenging platformer with a unique style of gameplay. You must use a pogo stick to traverse your way through each level, tilting your character to bounce at just the right angle. Dodge progressively harder obstacles while avoiding falling on your side, hitting edges and tumbling down pits. All 60 of the games levels are unlocked from the start allowing you to challenge them at your own pace and in any order.

While I didn’t find this game relaxing, I did appreciate the ingenuity behind it. While it can be frustrating it is also quite satisfying when completing each level. Skill plays a significant role, especially for achievement hunters. Personally, I managed to earn 900 out of the game’s 1,000 Gamerscore in just 20 minutes. The remaining 100 Gamerscore will require more effort, involving the completion of 30 levels.

NightGhast is a first-person horror game about wicked witches and sinister widows …

The game is not very pretty, but if you’re playing this one it’s likely for the achievements. You walk around a house solving puzzles and avoiding a wandering goat. Do yourself a favor and use a guide if you’re playing this one to finish this one quicker. You can thank me later.

Dead Station 2 actually released last week, however achievements were not live for the game upon initial release. This week they are available. The game is a sequel to Dead Station and very similar to the first one. Travers a space station killing bugs and solving some simple puzzles. Make sure to explore all areas for upgrade items and secret areas. The ChiliDog cheat code can be used here to grant yourself invincibility.
