This weekend at the PC Gaming Show 2024, we saw the newest trailer for Southfield, a chaotic farming meets wacky physics sandbox. Known for their contributions to games such as Sea of Thieves, and their own IP Bright Paws, developers Radical Forge invite us to take a ride on this topsy-turvy adventure.
As you learn to explore the wobbly world of Southfield as Bud, an adorable sprout fresh from the ground who's ready to roll, literally. Shape yourself into a ball, and bowl around as you survey the colorful island. Customize your Bud with colors and patterns. Add an outfit to make your sprout one of a kind.

Expect the unexpected here on Southfield Island. Farming is a little different compared to other farming sims. Combine curious crops that sing a tune, adorn a glow and much more. Enter each combination into your Almanac, there's so many to discover.
Do be careful though. Southfield inhabits more than just little Buds. Along with the friendly locals you'll help with quests, there are those who loom in the shadows only to create chaos. It's up to you to protect your crops and yourself from these Ruffians.

Along with farming, you can build and automate your machines. Experiment with physics to make air cannons or combine trampolines and conveyor belts to make your farming fun! Pick up tools along the way to construct builds from your imagination. Plan playgrounds for you and your friends to enjoy. Although being early released as a single player, talks of up to four Buds has been discussed for the future.
Southfield, bounces into early access in just a few weeks on June 24th for PC.
