Developer EmberLab has announced today that their debut game Kena Bridge Of Spirits will finally be coming to Xbox Series S/X and Xbox One on August 15th.
Kena Bridge Of Spirits originally released as a PlayStation exclusive back on September 21st 2021 and received rave reviews for its beautifully crafted world and features a compelling narrative with exploration, puzzle-solving, and fast-paced combat. It had previously been rated for Xbox last month.
Josh Grier, Chief Operating Officer at Ember Lab spoke on this exciting news announcement and said: "We're thrilled to bring the story of Kena to a new audience on Xbox platforms. As our debut game, Kena means a great deal to everyone at the studio and the team is excited to share Kena's journey with more players – we really hope everyone enjoys meeting Kena and her Rot friends!"
The Xbox version will include the Anniversary DLC update that launched in September 2022 which features Charmstones, Spirit Guide Trials, Kena Outfits, and accessibility features as well as New Game+.
Physical Collectors Rejoice
We here at Gamer Social Club, and I'm particular myself have pushed hard for publishers to still release physical games and I am happy to say that Kena Bridge Of Spirits will also be available at major retailers through a partnership with Maximum Entertainment with Kena Bridge Of Spirits Premium Edition.
The premium edition will include the base game as well as:
- Official Digital Soundtrack
- Retail Exclusive Sticker Sheet
- Unique Kena Staff
- Golden Rot Skin
- Xbox Exclusive pirate-themed Rot hats
Both the physical and digital versions of the game will be available for pre-order soon at major retailers and the Microsoft Store at a price of $39.99 US/ €39.99 / £34.99.
