Introducing Master Maker 3D Ultimate, the latest sandbox platformer from Eastasiasoft and developer Derik D.F., launched on March 20, 2024, boasting 2,000 Gamer Score. Available now on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.
Embark on a retro 3D platforming adventure, offering 50 levels in Adventure Mode. With straightforward gameplay, it’s a cakewalk to navigate rotating traps, defeat enemies, and reach the flag at each stage’s end. Utilize Master Maker’s boomerang-like hammers to dispatch foes and clear obstacles, all within 1 ½ to 2 hours of gameplay.

While Adventure Mode delivers simple, enjoyable gameplay, the occasional distracting narrator and lack of clear incentives for collecting coins may deter some players. However, upon completion, unlock 350 Bonus Levels to extend the experience, with only 4 necessary for achievement hunters.

For those keen on level design, the editor provides basic functionality, though its interface lacks tutorials and feels clunky. Typically, games allowing level creation enable sharing, testing, and rating by other players, enhancing the experience. The absence of this feature is confusing and detracts from the purpose of creation.
Despite its flaws, Master Maker 3D Ultimate provides entertainment and easy achievements/trophies at an affordable price, making it a worthwhile purchase for completionists. Casual players may find better options elsewhere.
