Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection Off To Rough Start

The recently released Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection developed by Aspyr has seemingly had a tough launch with many bugs, crashes and lag issues being reported by users.

As of this writing the game currently sits at a 23% approval rating on Steam. Because of this Aspyr has had to issue a statement saying they are aware of the issues.

"At launch, we experienced critical errors with our network infrastructure.  The result was incredibly high ping, matchmaking errors, crashes, and servers not appearing in the browser."

Currently the team is hard at work trying to resolve the issues so players can get back to enjoying the classic Star Wars games.

"Since launch, we've been working to address these issues and increase network stability, and we will continue our efforts until our network infrastructure is stabilized to prevent further outages."

While we certainly don't wish any game to have these issues it is becoming a growing trend in the industry to have such shaky launches. We hope Aspyr quickly resolves them for the fans of this game.
