Xbox held a roughly 30 minute show today to highlight new reveals & looks at a number of upcoming games being made by 3rd party developers such as Capcom, EA & Nexon.

Up first was the gameplay trailer for Unknown 9: Awakening, which focuses on the character Haroona, described as a "Fierce truth-seeker, called a "˜Quaestor' with a unique connection to another dimension known as the Fold. The game is scheduled to release in Summer 2024 for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4/5 and PC.

Following that was the announcement trailer for Sleight of Hand, a hard boiled 3rd person stealth sim. The game which is a 3rd person stealth game with a stylized noir setting and a focus on deck building, will be launching as part of Game Pass in 2025 on Xbox Series X/S & PC.

Next was The Alters, an upcoming survival in which the player assumes control of Jan, a space miner who crashes on a hostile planet & must create alternate versions of himself in order to survive. With intense environmental artwork reminiscent of Returnal or Scars Above, The Alters is scheduled to launch in 2024 on PC, Xbox Series X/S & PS5.

Then they showed the trailer for Creatures of Ava, a 3rd person action-adventure, creature saving game with an emphasis on music as the main character Vic, can utilize the traditional flute of the natives, to communicate. The game is slated to launch in 2024 on Xbox X/S and PC.
After that was Griefville: Survive the Nightmare, launching today as an interactive horror experience set in Roblox. Up first will be Chucky from the Child's Play franchise, which will allow players to assume the role of the titular killer. The game is promoted as an evolving interactive experience starring the horrors and thrills of the 80's and 90's.

The next trailer shown was the announcement trailer for The Sinking City 2, a sequel to the 2019 original, this time focused on survival horror instead of detective work. The game will maintain its influences from horror fiction writer H.P. Lovecraft. The game was announced to release on Xbox Series X/S, PC & PS5.

With the demo currently available on Xbox, the next trailer was the official release announcement for Final Fantasy 14 on Xbox. The long running MMO by SquareEnix will officially launch on Xbox Series X/S on March 21. The starter edition will be available through the Game Pass Ultimate perks, but it must be claimed between March 21 and April 19.

Then Xbox decided to surprise Xbox gamers with revealing that STALKER Legends of the Zone trilogy is available today on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4 and PS5, making it the first time the games have been available on consoles. The reveal today comes ahead of the planned release of Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl later this year.
After that was an announcement trailer for Monster Jam Showdown, which showcased the monster truck racing game with offroad races, freestyling & drifting. Monster Jam Showdown will release on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S later this year.

Fans of Persona 3 Reload then got exciting news that the Expansion Pass, which will release in September, will be available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate users for free through January 31, 2025. The expansion contains background music from Persona 4 and 5 as well as new costumes and the Episode Aigis DLC.

Up next was a gameplay trailer for The First Berserker: Khazan, an action roleplaying game that adapts the universe of DNF, dealing with the story of Ozma and Khazan. Survive the relentless pursuit of imperial forces, navigate conspiracies aimed at killing Khazan, and overcome the harsh environments you encounter when the game launches for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC.

After that was Tales of Kenzera: Zau, the upcoming metroidvania featuring the powers of the sun and moon to defeat restless spirits in rhythmic combat. Journey through mystical 2.5D realms awash with color and depth, emboldened by multi-award-winning composer Nainita Desai’s enchanting original score when the game is slated to launch for PC, Switch, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in April of this year.

Following that was a trailer for Frostpunk 2, an upcoming city-building survival game that's set 30 years after the original and tasks players with building and managing a city following a global volcanic winter. Players can build their own cities when the game launches in July for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

The final trailer shown during the event was Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess. The wildly artistic and colorful game reflect traditional Japanese aesthetics, while the gameplay experience will blend action and strategy. Gamers can enjoy this one when it's released on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
