The latest, and biggest ever, Nintendo Direct September 2025 has just wrapped. Oh boy was there a lot to see.

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie
The next Super Mario movie will release in April 2026. Super Mario Galaxy is dubbed as the main inspiration for the game.
Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Switch)
Travel the cosmos with Mario in these two classic games "” now with enhanced resolution, improved UI, Assist Mode, and new Storybook content. Use button, stick, and motion controls, play in Assist Mode for additional Health and fall recovery. Plus, learn more about the Lumas in new Storybook chapters.
Two new Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 amiibo will also be releasing on April 2, 2026.
It releases on 2 October 2025. Both games will be available digitally, separately. Two new Amiibos will be released in February 2026.
Mario Tennis Fever (Switch 2)
Grab your Fever Racket and get ready to hit the court when the latest entry in the Mario Tennis series swings onto Nintendo Switch 2. Try out 30 different Fever Rackets, each with their own special ability, and take your pick from 38 playable characters!
It releases on 12 February 2026.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder + Meetup in Bellabel Park (Switch 2) – already available on Switch
A Switch 2 edition of Super Mario Bros. Wonder is coming.
It releases in Spring 2026.
The talking flowers from the Meetup in Bellabel Park extra content will also be available to buy in Spring 2026.
Yoshi and the Mysterious Book (Switch 2)
Join Yoshi on a new adventure as you discover a world full of unusual creatures when Yoshi and the Mysterious Book launches on Nintendo Switch 2 next spring.
Storm Lancers (Switch)
Storm Lancers, a side-scrolling action roguelike game developed by ProbablyMonsters. Players will explore Cryptica, a mysterious planet wielding a powerful source of magic. Leap, dash, and slash through enemies and bosses alike to master powerful skills from run to run.
It releases today!
Dinkum (Switch) – already available on PC
Embark on your Dinkum life on an island inspired by the wild Australian Outback! Explore with your friends, build a town, and uncover hidden secrets!
It releases as a timed console exclusive on 5 November 2025. A demo will be available later today.
Popucom (PS5, Switch) – already available on PC

It releases this festive season.
Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream (Switch)
After over ten years, Tomodachi Life is back! Create a customized crew of quirky Mii characters and help them live their best lives when Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream.
It will release in Spring 2026.
Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection (PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Switch 2, Xbox One, Xbox Series)
Experience the legendary origins of the Mortal Kombat franchise with the arcade fighting classics that started it all, plus a curated selection of most-loved home versions and rare fan-favorite releases. The digital version releases on 30 October 2025. The physical edition releases on 12 December 2025.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Integrade (Switch 2, Xbox Series) – already available on PC, PS4, PS5
The first entry in the FINAL FANTASY VII remake trilogy brings the iconic city of Midgar to life with modern visuals, expanded storylines, and dynamic real-time RPG combat blended with strategic command over character's ATB gauges, character switching, and selections to maximize a character's effectiveness in battle.

Hades 2 (PC, Switch 2)
Battle beyond the Underworld using dark sorcery to take on the Titan of Time in this bewitching sequel to the award-winning rogue-like dungeon crawler.
It releases on 25 September 2025 digitally.
Kirby Air Riders Amiibos
Two new Kirby Air Riders amiibo, Kirby & Warp Star and Bandana Waddle Dee & Winged Star, will be available alongside the game's launch on Nov 20, with more Kirby Air Riders amiibo on the way! Additionally, a second Kirby Air Riders Direct, hosted by the game's director, Mr. Sakurai, is also on the way!
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment (Switch 2)
Fight hordes of enemies with unique characters, change the tide of battle with Zonai devices, and defeat the Demon King Ganondorf!
It launches on 6 November 2025.
Dragon Quest VII Reimagined (Switch, Switch 2)
Fix the past, save the present! Gather your companions and travel beyond the shores of your kingdom to discover why it is the only remaining island in the world in Dragon Quest VII Reimagined.
It releases on 5 February 2026.
Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack
Virtual Boy is joining the Nintendo Online Classics!
To play, you’ll need the Virtual Boy accessory that connect with your Switch or Switch 2.
14 games will be releases over time.
The Virtual Boy classics will launch on 17 February 2026.
Fatal Frame II Crimson Butterly: Remake (PC, PS5, Switch 2, Xbox Series)
When twin sisters Mio and Mayu Amakura find themselves lost in a village that has vanished from the map, they fight to unravel the mysteries of the supernatural phenomena surrounding them in this beautiful revival of the fan-favorite Japanese horror adventure, FATAL FRAME II: Crimson Butterfly REMAKE.

Suika Game Planet (Switch, Switch 2)

Metroid Prime 4 (Switch, Switch 2)
Samus is targeted by the deadly sharpshooter Sylux, and lands on Viewros in the aftermath of their clash. She'll need all her tools and abilities, including her new technologically-advanced bike Vi-O-La, to survive and escape. Additionally, three new Metroid Prime 4: Beyond amiibo are also on the way: Samus (Metroid Prime 4), Samus & Vi-O-La (Metroid Prime 4), and enigmatic bounty hunter Sylux (Metroid Prime 4).
It releases on 4 December 2025.
Donkey Kong Bananza: Donkey Kong Island + Emerald Rush DLC (Switch 2)
Meet some friendly faces on DK Island and race to fill quotas for the Void Company in Emerald Rush with this paid DLC.
It releases later today. A demo of the main game is also being made available.
Pokemon Pokopia (Switch 2)
A Ditto with a human appearance builds a new life with the help of Pokemon.
It releases in 2026.
Pokemon Legends Z-A (Switch, Switch 2)
New Mega Evolutions have been revealed for Chesnaught, Delphox, and Greninja! You'll be able to Mega Evolve these Pokémon by earning their Mega Stones from online Ranked Battles with Nintendo Switch Online.
It releases on 16 October 2025.
Pokemon Legends Z-A: Mega Dimension DLC

Resident Evil: Requiem (PC, PS5, Switch 2, Xbox Series)

It releases on 27 February 2026. It was also confirmed that Resident Evil VII and Resident Evil Village will release on Switch 2 on the same day.
