We Were Here Tomorrow Gets a Demo at Triple-i

During today’s Triple-i Initiative showcase, the new title in the We Were Here series from Total Mayhem Games; We Were Here Tomorrow got a surprise Steam demo. The demo is limited to one week only, exclusively for the showcase and was shown off with a brand new trailer.

Like the previous titles in the series We Were Here Tomorrow is a two-player asymmetric co-op game, where you’ll need to communicate through walkie-talkies to uncover clues and solve puzzles together. Players will be exploring ‘Norcek’: a mysterious facility that serves as the opening area of the demo and will need to work together to solve three puzzles designed to test teamwork, observation, and communication.

As per the press release, the game fetures:

  • Two-player co-op – Solving these mind-bending puzzles takes two. Communicate through your walkie-talkies and become each other’s eyes, ears, and mind to overcome challenges.
  • Asymmetrical puzzles – Each Explorer experiences different areas and information, meaning success depends on sharing clues and working together.
  • Distinct character abilities – Beyond communication tools, both Explorers have their own abilities that must be used to overcome obstacles and progress.
  • A mysterious story to unravel – Explore a retro-futuristic facility filled with uncharted areas, advanced technology, and hidden secrets.
  • Teamwork and friendship – Success depends on how well you and your partner rely on one another when it matters most.

The demo is available now on Steam, and the game will be launching on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S later this year.
