The Triple-i-Initiative is a group of studios that have got together to share their gaming news. THey promise no fluff, no ads and no hosts, just games.

Prove You’re Human (PC)
An AI dares to dream she is human. You’ve been hired to put her in her place. From the creators of the Peabody award-winning 1000xRESIST, published by the creators of Slay The Princess. “”Prove You’re Human”” is a sci-fi narrative adventure in which you play as Santana and split your consciousness in two. The company behind this program has a chance at achieving true AGI — but there’s just one problem. The company’s AI, Mesa, is convinced she’s a human being.
Alkahest (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)
In the first gameplay reveal of Alkahest, the player ventures into dark caves and abandoned ruins now claimed by goblins. Exploration flows into tense encounters, where combat feels physical and grounded – kicks, finishers, and reactive environments turn every fight into controlled chaos. Destructible spaces and systemic physics blur the line between weapon and world, while alchemy adds a layer of creativity, enabling clever interactions both in battle and in traversal.
Lost Railway (PC)
Lost Railway is the first 2D co-op quota horror where you and your friends travel through a strange, cute-but-creepy post-apocalyptic world aboard a train that must never stop. You scavenge abandoned stations, avoid or in worst case confront monsters, and race against an escalating level of the mutation on the level while fulfilling a quota that keeps the train moving. Every run is a tense balance between greed, caution, and teamwork. Screaming is not just allowed, it is a mechanic. This is quota horror reimagined for 2D: systemic, readable, brutal, with active deep combat and deeply co-op-driven.
Cairn – On the Trail DLC (PC, PS5)
The Game Bakers reveal On the Trail free DLC for the critically acclaimed survival climber Cairn. On the Trail – Deep Water is the first of a series of free DLC bringing Cairn climbers with new climbing locations and fresh challenges as they follow the trail of a legendary climber. The DLC brings 3 new climbing areas, and introduces water soloing: players can now climb over water, without the consequences of plummeting to their death! Marco won’t be cheering from the sideline anymore, players can now climb with him or Aava. The climb begins again in Summer 2026.
Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse (PC, PS5, Switch, Xbox Series)
Discover a new trailer for Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse with all-new gameplay and commentary highlighting a blend of action and exploration, while further exploring the game setting—1499 Paris. Follow a young Belmont’s jouney in an all new 2D Action-Exploration title from KONAMI, Evil Empire and Motion Twin, to be released in 2026.
Space Craft (PC)
The Universe is yours. SpaceCraft is an online space exploration and building game. Explore a vast galaxy of solar systems and planets, mine and craft resources, design and build ships, automate planetary bases and interplanetary logistics, trade and cooperate.
IT releases into early access on 20 May 2026.
Rift of the Necrodancer X Undertale (PC)
Dragged into a strange new world, Cadence must engage in musical combat with monsters surging through the Rift. Face pulse-pounding Rhythm Rifts where every beat is a battle — this time, re-experience one of gaming’s most iconic soundtracks with the OFFICIAL UNDERTALE Music Pack!
Thick as Thieves (PC)
Thick as Thieves is a stealth-action heist game set in Kilcairn, an alternate-history 1910s Scottish city steeped in intrigue and rich in opportunity. Master the art of thievery through cunning gameplay in short-session missions, playable solo or with a friend in co-op multiplayer.
It releases on 20 May 2026
Romestead (PC)
Survival Town-Builder ‘Romestead’, developed by Beartwigs and published by Three Friends, will be released into Early Access on May 26th! Romestead is an action-adventure survival game that invites players to build and expand their home, alone or with friends, as they seek to rebuild Rome and conquer the legendary foes that inhabit ancient lands.
It launches into early access on 26 May 2026.
Super Battle Golf (PS5, Switch 2, Xbox Series) – already available on PC
Super Battle Golf is an online 1-8 player golf game where everyone plays at the same time. Swing, shoot, sabotage, and finish first by any means necessary in a free-for-all rush to the hole. Hit your friends with your ball. Ram them down with a golf cart. Fire an orbital laser from half-way across the map. Collect an assortment of items to stop your friends from getting any points as you make your way to the hole.
Frostrail (PC)
Through the frost, death follows the tracks. Dive into a ruthless survival FPS, solo or co-op. Explore, scavenge, craft, and fight to endure a frozen, corrupted world. Operate and upgrade your steam-powered train through an unforgiving wasteland, where every choice is a matter of survival.
A playtest begins on 16 April 2026.
Crop (PC)
A gritty farming thriller where your life depends on the yield. Abducted and bound to a dying farm, you must dig, plant, irrigate, and cut through the decay, all while solving the mystery of your captors and overcoming the daily cycle. The only way out is through the harvest.
Machine Party (PC)
Machine Party is a collection of violent party games where failure is lethal. Gather your friends and endure high stakes situations to prove your life is worth more than theirs. Survival is unlikely. Machine Party is the next game from famed independent developer Mike Klubnika (Buckshot Roulette, s.p.l.i.t.) and GDeavid making it a two person project, published by Oro Interactive (Easy Delivery Co., Roadside Research, Super Battle Golf).
Windrose (PC)
It is a survival adventure set in an alternative Age of Piracy anticipated by over 1,500,000 players who wishlisted the game. It features the classic “build, craft, survive” formula along with intense combat and engaging exploration on land and sea.
Early access begins on 14 April 2026.
Over the Hill (PC)
over the hill is an off-road exploration game about the quiet thrill of getting lost together. Drive vintage 4x4s through vast open environments inspired by real-world wilderness. There are no racing lines and no podiums here. Instead, it’s about choosing your own route, reading the terrain, and figuring out how to reach the next lookout when the road disappears.
A closed playtest is taking place between 24-26 April 2026.
Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions (PC, PS5, Switch 2, Xbox Series)
STARSEEKER is a new game set within the Astroneer universe, focusing on discovery, cooperative expeditions, and camaraderie. Players will need to work together with their squad and the entire space station crew to explore the planet Tephra, accomplish dynamic objectives, and bring resources back to the station to complete the STARSEEKER community’s overall goals. The new ‘Wildlife of Tephra’ trailer shows some of the unusual creatures players will encounter on the ground—creatures they will need to analyse, avoid, or pacify.
Shift at Midnight (PC)
Shift at Midnight is an online co-op detective horror for 1 – 3 players, releasing May 28th 2026! Managing a gas station is tough work – keep your stock shelves full and sell enough products to meet your quota each night, take deliveries and keep your store nice and clean. Oh, and make sure to interrogate each customer as you serve – as some are not human and are in fact doppelgangers – miss one and they will return later that shift to try and kill you. Execute on sight if you think they are not human – just be sure to clean up after. If you mess up, be prepared to set traps, barricade the doors and hide as the doppelgangers return as horrible monsters.
It releases on 28 May 2026.
Dead as Disco (PC)
Martial arts meets music video in Dead as Disco, a neon-drenched Beat ‘Em Up where every punch, kick, and combo syncs to the music. Play as Charlie Disco, a fallen icon with one chance to reclaim the spotlight from the Idols – Charlie’s ex-bandmates and musical legends. It enters early access on 5 May 2026.
Barotrauma: Home & Harbor Expansion (PC)
Home & Harbor is the upcoming expansion for Barotrauma. Introducing outpost ownership, building and management and a mysterious new faction: The Descendants, which will shake up the world of Europa’s merry sailors.
The expansion is aiming to release in the autumn of 2026.
Lost Castle 2 (PC)
Lost Castle 2 is a 2D Beat’em up Rogue-Lite game, explore abundant treasures and items to enhance yourself, master various weapons to showcase your skills, and challenge powerful monsters to demonstrate your strength. A new adventure is calling for treasure hunters!
It launches on 11 June 2026.
Sledding Game (PC, Xbox Series)
Sledding Game is a multiplayer hangout game where you race down hills, do cool tricks, and crash spectacularly with ridiculous ragdoll physics. Need a break? Hit the chalet to chill, drink cocoa, build snowmen, go ice fishing and more! With proximity chat, character and sled customization, and tons of minigames, it’s all about cozy yet chaotic fun with friends.
It launches into early access on 30 April. It will also be included as a day one release on Xbox Game Pass.
Solar Punk (PC, PS5, Switch 2, Xbox Series)
Solarpunk is a calm survival game in a technically advanced world of floating islands. Alone or together with your friends, you can construct buildings, grow food, craft gadgets and explore distant islands with your own airship. Use sunlight and wind to create an energy system and automate your processes like gathering resources and watering your plants to build your dream home in the sky.
It launches on 8 June 2026.
Warhammer Survivors (PC, PS5, Switch, Switch 2, Xbox Series)
Warhammer Survivors, the fast-paced Warhammer roguelite survivors game.
Everwind – The First Ascent Update (PC)
Everwind is a novel take on RPG and Sandbox Survival genre in First-Person-Perspective. Embark on the adventure with your friends – Build a base on a flying island-ship, gather resources, craft, loot, and fight while you rise above the clouds to uncover the mysteries of this world. The First Ascent Update marks Everwind’s first major post–Early Access update, introducing new challenges, enemies, customization options, and powerful gear inspired by community feedback.
The update launches in May 2026.
Away Team (PC)
Mistakenly shipped off on a research rocket, you find yourself in a strange new world where you must take control of the simulation to survive and thrive. The good news is, you won’t have to do it alone. We’re excited to announce multiplayer is now in development for Away Team.
Valor Mortis (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)
Valor Mortis is a first-person action soulslike set in a supernatural retelling of the Napoleonic Wars. This trailer reveals a new weapon, new environments, a new boss, and parkour mechanics that harken back to One More Level’s previous Ghostrunner titles.
Long Gone (PC)
xplore an abandoned suburban neighborhood decades after the outbreak with your cat companion. Platform through the ruined streets, solve environmental puzzles and uncover the secret lives of the people long gone through the belongings they left behind in this atmospheric 3D pixel narrative adventure. Oh, and watch out for the zombies.
It’s aiming to release in 2027.
TemTem Pioneeers (PC)
Step into the Downbelow, a vast and untamed region where Temtem roam wild and every expedition opens the door to new discoveries. Temtem: Pioneers blends creature collection, survival gameplay, and fast-paced action combat into a brand new adventure set in the Temtem universe. Far from the comfort of the Archipelago, you must explore unknown lands, build a home in the wild, and grow alongside the Temtem that help you survive this incredible and challenging world.
Brotato – Primal Dread DLC
The new Primal Dread DLC is making its way to Brotato! Face the might of the jungle and its inhabitants: the mecha and mutant dinosaurs! Brotato is a top-down arena shooter roguelite where you play a potato wielding up to 6 weapons at a time to fight off hordes of aliens. Choose from a variety of traits and items to create unique builds and survive until help arrives.
Far Far West (PC)
Team up in this chaotic 1-4 player co-op horde shooter. Journey to the spooky west to blast monsters, sling spells, complete missions, and collect bounties. Work as a team to get in, get paid and get out (mostly) alive. Play solo or with up to 3 other friends. Level up, unlock new weapons/spells/abilities, and customise your player (and horse!). No live service! No season pass! No micro-transactions!
It launches into early access on 28 April 2026.
Graveyard Keeper 2 (PC, PS5, Switch, Switch 2, Xbox Series)
Graveyard Keeper 2 is a narrative-driven crafting RPG set in a medieval fantasy world. This sequel builds on the cult-favorite formula, expanding it into a zombie-infested Town. Craft, trade, optimize supply chains, manage your graveyard, and send undead expeditions to reclaim and revive the city. More graves, a bigger Town, and even more questionable morals.
It was also announced that Graveyard Keeper 1 will be available for free on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series for a limited time.
We Were Here Tomorrow (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)
You and your partner wake up inside mysterious pods. Strange machinery is buzzing around you, and the world beyond the glass is one you no longer recognize. A calm, confident voice guides you through the unfamiliar facility, equipping you both with useful tools as you puzzle your way through a list of assignments together. Left with many questions and few choices, you carry out the orders given to you. This asymmetrical co-op adventure will have you uncover secrets that will shape the fate of Tomorrow… We Were Here Tomorrow is the next entry in the We Were Here Series.

The Lift (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)
The Lift is an eerie, story-driven handyman simulator in which you renovate and explore a massive research facility abandoned after a mysterious incident. Set in a highly interactive world inspired by Soviet science fiction, The Lift puts a surreal twist on the handyman gameplay formula, tasking players with a wide range of jobs from vacuuming reality-distorting anomalies and collecting fuel from robotic bees, to reviving interdimensional satellite dishes and repairing sentient reactors.
It is aiming to release in 2027.
Alabaster Dawn (PC)
Alabaster Dawn is an Action RPG building on top of the best aspects of Radical Fish Games’ previous title CrossCode, featuring a deep and engaging combat system, challenging puzzles and an epic story set in a curious world full of secrets to discover and places to explore. The shadow of Nyx has fallen, warping the world into a wasteland and vanishing the gods and their people. Now, Juno, the Outcast Chosen, awakens to an impossible task: bring it all back.

Risk of Rain 2 – Hallowed Concepts DLC (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)
Risk of Rain 2: Hallowed Concepts takes players deeper into the dark, cult-like world of N’Kuhana. In this new expansion, survivors will fight through haunting new regions of Petrichor V, face horrific new enemies, and uncover powers never before possible in Risk of Rain 2.
Too Deep To Quit (PC)
Grab your gear and your friends for a hilarious, golden-age adventure experience coming 2026! Join a cast of daring puppets as you dive into cursed temples, hunt for the ultimate treasure, and cooperate to stay alive. Beware of everything and everyone… only the survivors get to split the gold!
Neverway (PC, Switch)
After quitting her dead-end job, Fiona starts over on a farm and becomes the immortal herald of a dead god. Make friends, fight through horrors and pay your debt in this nightmarish life sim RPG. Co-directed by the pixel artist of Celeste and with music by Disasterpeace.
You can play the prologue on Steam now. It is aiming to release in October 2026.
