1000xRESIST developer sunset visitor has announced its latest title, Prove You’re Human, a narrative puzzle game published by Slay the Princess studio Black Tabby Games.
sunset visitor made its debut in 2024 with 1000xRESIST,a science-fiction narrative adventure game that went on to win multiple awards, including a Peabody Award. The studio has been teasing the imminent reveal of its newest title in anticipation of the Triple- i Initiative showcase, which aired today.
According to sunset visitor, Prove You’re Human tasks the player with reprogramming a rogue AI who has begun to believe that she is human. The trailer showcases eerie visuals and puzzles focused on solving captcha queries. It also reveals that this will be the debut publishing effort from Black Tabby Games, the studio behind beloved visual novels Slay the Princess and Scarlet Hollow.
No date was announced for the game, and Black Tabby Games has outlined details of its publishing plans in a new Medium blog post, revealing that it is also planning to publish a new title from Later Alligator developer SmallBu. It also revealed that the initial revenue split for Prove You’re Human will be 70/30 between publisher and developer, until development costs have been recouped, after which it will be flipped 30/70.
Prove You’re Human is currently in development for PC.
