In this rhythm RPG, every major area in People of Note has a puzzle mechanic that you’ll need to complete in order to progress through the story, acquire new abilities, and treasures.  It often starts with an introductory puzzle to teach you the ropes, then will progressively gets more intricate. Most of these puzzles are mandatory to progress, such as rewarding a new traversal ability, allowing you to move on. While some will give you collectibles or new items. Chordia: Whirl’s Generation puzzles

Puzzle 1: Getting the Forte ability

1st Stage

1. Step on Pink Star
2. Climb up to reach the Blue Diamond
3. Head towards the White Puzzle to complete the stage

2nd Stage

1. Step on the Pink Star
2. Climb up to reach the Blue Diamond
3. Drop down and step on the Pink Star again
4. Climb up using the Blue Diamond block
5. Head towards the left side to step on the White Puzzle to complete the stage

3rd Stage

1. Step on the Pink Star
2. Climb up on the left side to step on the Blue Diamond
3. Stay on this level and walk towards the Yellow Lightning
4. Stay on this level and walk towards to step on the Blue Diamond again
5. Stay on this level and walk towards to step on the Pink Star
6. Walk towards the platform at the top right corner of the room
7. Get the Forte ability
8. Interact with the lever

After completing this puzzle, you’ll gain the Forte ability, allowing you to interact with levers and other things. Speak to the NPC in the right side of the room to start the intermediate version of the puzzle, as well as gain access to the treasure box at the top left side of the room.

Puzzle 2: Getting the B-Side Songstone

1. Go around towards the left side to Step on the Blue Diamond
2. Climb up and step on the Red Heart
3. Go down and step on the Blue Diamond again
4. Go around towards the bottom to climb up using the Red Heart block
5. Head right to step on the Pink Star
6. Go down and step on the Yellow Lightning
7. Climb up again and step on the Pink Star
8. Go down and head towards the Blue Diamond by walking on the outside perimeter of the puzzle
9. Go back up to step on the Red Heart
10. Go down to step on the Blue Diamond for the last time
11. Head towards the Yellow Lightning block you can climb up from
12. Jump into the platform to get the B-Side Songstone
13. Interact with the lever

Now that you’ve completed these puzzles, you’ll have the Forte ability, which you’ll need throughout the rest of the game.

The Sad Bouncer

There is another small obstacle that can slow down your progress into Whirl’s Generation. Bouncers. They are always in your way, though it is kind of their job. The bouncers in this area, however, are obsessed with drinks. If you bribe them with their favourite, they’ll let you through.

Head to the Everflow bar and create a mixture of:

• Brandy
• Cola Tengo
• Lemon Rhymed
