Grind Survivors – Element Trophies Guide

Are you fighting through the hordes of hell and trying to figure out how to unlock all the elemental achievements? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! This guide will cover all 4 elements, as well as the perks needed to get each.

As always, be sure to check out our review of Grind Survivors to read up on our thoughts on the game.

The 4 Elements

Long ago, the 4 elements lived in harmony. Curse, Chill, Fire, and Electric are all the elements you’re going to want to focus on for these achievements. Each element has 4 perks you can grab, as well as a synergy perk that can add massive damage. These achievements are all cumulative, so you don’t need to worry about trying to hyper-focus on these all at once. Once the first or second tier achievements are done, you will unlock runes related to the element, such as adding 100% fire damage or adding another chain lightning bolt to each shot. These are worth using once unlocked, so make sure you’re equipping them if you’re focusing on a specific element. These are all cumulative, so don’t worry about trying to hard focus on these, as the first and second stages should come naturally.

There is also a separate achievement you can earn the title Mage, which just requires you to grab one perk from each element.

Curse

Achievements to unlock: Witch, Dark Arts, and Witch Doctor

Perks related to Curse: Dark Mastery, Vulnerability, Fast Curse, Cursed Explosion

Synergy Perk: Smell

Curse is great for dealing damage after a delay. You can also add a buff where any cursed enemy takes 30% more damage. The synergy skill for curse is great, as it makes any enemy within your pickup range explode every 6 seconds.

Chill

Achievements to unlock: Penguin, Ice Age, and Chill Guy

Perks related to Chill: Chilling Touch, Frost Path, Deep Frosting, Intense Freeze

Synergy Perk: Blizzard, Cold Blood

Chill, while useful in slowing enemies, doesn’t deal much damage until you get Intense Freeze. This will likely be the last of the 4 that you unlock.

Fire

Achievements to unlock: Phoenix, Inferno, and Pyromaniac

Perks related to Fire: Incendiary Bullets, Napalm, White Phosphorus, Igniting Reload

Synergy Perk: Fire Storm, Cold Blood

Fire is the best element if you’re going for pure, straight damage. Dealing additional damage with each bullet is great, and being able to leave fire spots when enemies die really racks up the damage.

Electric

Achievements to unlock: Eel, Tesla Boy, and Thor

Perks related to Electric: Electrify, Super Conduction, Blazing Power, Chain Lightnings

Synergy Perk: Sparks

Easily my favorite element in terms of dealing extra damage to enemies around you, this build focuses on chaining damage between the enemies you hit and the enemies around them. You can stack quite a few of these chains up, and while they don’t do a bunch of damage, it is great for gradually weakening them.

And that’s the guide for the 4 different achievements for the elements! Hope this guide helped steer you towards unlocking these achievements.
