How To Solve Moses’ Tests In Life Is Strange: Reunion

Life Is Strange Reunion Guide Main

If you’ve ever played a Life is Strange game before, you will know there are some tricky parts that you need to do in a certain order to continue the story. I wouldn’t call them puzzles per say, but you can get stuck in them regardless. Life is Strange: Reunion has a few of these spots as well, and this guide is going to help you get through all 3 of Moses’ tests.

This section is during the “Time Dojo” chapter. You will approach Moses’ office and venture in to talk to him for awhile about Max’s powers and what she saw. Moses will then tell Max to practice her rewind skills. After wandering about his office for a little you will return to talk to him again and he will give you a test.

Moses will ask you to find out who killed Swordmaster and hand you an image he drew. With this in hand you can now find the clues.

Test #1

As soon as you have the objective to “find who killed the Swordmaster” head to the opposite end of the room from where Moses is. You will see a poster of what looks like some kind of superhero on it with “No true Samurai” written on it. Intereact with this poster. You can technically skip this part if you want but it is nice for some backstory.

Now turn around and head upstairs. On one of the bookshelves overlooking the rest of the office you will see a “schoolgirl” statue.

Inspect it and tilt it so that you can see the bottom where you will see her name is Mina Hiramatsu.

Head back to Moses and rewind back until you can take the photo from Moses again. A scene will take place where Max says to ask her the name and you will give the answer “Mina Hiramatsu”.

 Test #2

Next, Moses will give you his second test which is to bring him what is locked behind a door he points to. Begin by heading over to the cabinets on the left-hand side of the room and examine the bottom cabinet. On top of the cabinet will be a screwdriver which you will want to grab.

Use the screwdriver on the cabinet to open it and a mug will fall out and break. Rewind back so that the cabinet is locked again and you can head to the corner where Moses’ desk and computer is where you will see a cushion on it.

Grab it and return to the cabinet, placing the cushion on the floor. Use the screwdriver to pry it open again this time causing the mug to fall on the cushion and not break.

Now with the mug in hand, you can rewind a bunch again and speak with Moses who will ask you to get the item for him, but of course we already have it. Hand it to him and move on to his final test.

Test #3

The third test ends up being not much of a test at all. Go stand on the X like Moses wants and watch a scene play out. Once you can control Max again rewind when the kettle sparks and head upstairs to unplug it.

And thats how you solve all the tests with Moses. We hope this guide was helpful for you if you were having any issues. We will be running through Life is Strange: Reunion and working on all collectibles, miscellaneous achievements and more so head below to find what you need!
