Super Meat Boy 3D has received a release date, and it’s coming much sooner than you might have thought! Like next week soon!

The announcement was made during the latest Xbox Partner Preview showcase. The trailer, which you can see below confirms its release date along with news from Xbox that it will be available on Xbox Game Pass. It is also going to be an Xbox Play Anywhere title, meaning you can purchase the game once and have access to it on Xbox on PC and console.

Super Meat Boy 3D will release on Tuesday 31 March 2026! That’s less than a week away! It will release on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.

Prepare to die, die and die again, as the notoriously difficult platformer doesn’t look to be easing up on its ‘tough as nails’ persona. You’ll navigate levels that are littered with things to kill you, and you need to survive and get to the end. It’s looking great, so let’s hope that the transition from 2D to 3D is a success for the franchise.
