Milestone Games has revived the classic Screamer franchise. With the first new game in over 30 years the studio has brought some action packed racing to modern consoles and PC. That of course comes with achievements! With this guide we will help you earn the “Hollowed” achievement or trophy.
The Hollowed achievement will likely be the most difficult achievement to obtain in Screamer. It requires you to defeat Hollowed Apollo. What makes this difficult is how you even get to Hollowed Apollo to begin with.
Hollowed Apollo, unlike any other character in the game, isn’t one you simply unlock by playing through the Tournament. In order to face him in a race we need to do multiple things and do it the first time.
Score Challenge Mode Only
The only way we can get to Hollowed Apollo is in the Score Challenge mode within the arcade and even then there are very specific things you need to do. The parameters needed to get Hollowed Apollo are as follows.
- Must select a leader to race with
- Must select “long ride” format
- AI difficulty must be at least medium and can never drop below that
- You must KO at least 2 enemies and cannot explode more than 20 times throughout the event
- You must complete each race in the event on the first try. Finishing anything other than first and hitting continue will void the achievement
If you manage to do all of the things above then the last boss race should have Hollowed Apollo in it. Finishing this race in first place on the first try should both unlock the Hollowed achievement and unlock Hollowed Apollo as a character that you can use going forward.
