Excellent news Hades fans. Hades II, the much loved sequel to the rogue-like dungeon crawler is releasing on Xbox and PlayStation next month!
Congratulations are in order to anyone who didn’t cave from the FOMO and held fast, because your patience is to be rewarded. If, like me, you were hoping we wouldn’t be waiting too long until Hades II releases on your console of choice then you’re in luck Hades II is releasing on PS5 and Xbox Series next month, on 14 April.
The announcement was made during the latest Xbox Partner Preview showcase. The trailer, which you can see below confirms its release date along with news from Xbox that it will be available on Xbox Game Pass. It is also going to be an Xbox Play Anywhere title, meaning you can purchase the game once and have access to it on Xbox on PC and console.
With this news I might just hop back into the first game and hone my skills, such as they are. I know I’ll be getting my ass kicked repeatedly so best brushing up! I’m excited to jump in on Xbox. Where will you be playing, or have you already 100%’d it on PC or the Switch 2?
Hades II releases on PS5 and Xbox Series on 14 April and is already available on PC and Switch 2.
