Draknek & Friends, the puzzle-focused indie publisher behind games like Spooky Express, has announced that they will be publishing He Who Watches, a mind-bending first-person puzzle game set to release on PC sometime this year.
Check out the Publishing Announcement trailer below.
Solo-developed by Bobby Vanden (as Danga Games), He Who Watches is a first-person puzzle game where players must traverse a vast labyrinth built around a slumbering god. Using your bow and gravity-defying abilities, solve over 120 puzzles that twist space, gravity, and logic.
“He Who Watches has been a labor of love for quite a few years now, and I cannot wait for people to play it,” said Vanden. “It’s been so great to have some real experts in the genre help to finally get it out the door!”
He Who Watches will be priced at $20 / €20 / £16 on PC via Steam, and there is a demo for the game you can try out now.
He Who Watches Key Features:
- Solve puzzles in 3D by shifting blocks with a magical bow, traversing walls and ceilings

In a press release issued earlier today, Draknek & Friends founder Alan Hazelden said they were “thrilled to have secured He Who Watches for publishing” and that this deal represented “new ground” for the publisher.
This is the first time we’ve published a first-person game with such three-dimensional puzzles,” Alan explained, “and we’re really excited for it. I can’t wait to get Bobby’s work into players’ hands.”

Draknek & Friends have been making some moves in the last few years, hosting the inaugural Thinky Direct in 2025 and holding the 3rd annual Thinky Awards last month. If you are a fan of puzzle games, Draknek & Friends is a publisher to keep in your sights.
He Who Watches releases on PC later this year.
