How To Grind Mastery Achievements In Screamer

Milestone Games has revived the classic Screamer franchise. With the first new game in over 30 years the studio has brought some action packed racing to modern consoles and PC. That of course comes with achievements! Many of those achievements are tied to mastering each characters ability, and with our guide today we will help you earn them in less time.

Step 1: Finish The Tournament

In order to use our method you are going to want to go through the Tournament which is Screamer’s campaign. This alone will net you some progress towards most of the characters abilities as you learn to use them all through the campaign. Plus it is a really good campaign! But for the purposes of why you are here, completing the Tournament will unlock something we need.

While technically you only need to get about 95% of the way through the campaign in order to unlock this track, you will need to complete it to unlock some characters anyway.

Step 2: Grind On A Specific Map

Now with the Tournament done and most of the characters and tracks unlocked we can head to the arcade. Depending on what you need to work on you can either select race or team race. For the purposes of the Mastery’s I’d say race is best. What you want to do is select the The Cradles track which is basically one big oval.

Selecting this track is key because it is a very simple track to maintain high speeds on which will help you get boosts more frequently which helps you get more strikes as well. Considering the majority of the mastery achievements are tied to one of those 2 things, we obviously want to get as many of these as we can.

From here all you need to do is select whichever character you want and start the grind. And honestly with this method some characters were quite quick. With Gabriel for example I was able to unlock his Mastery achievement in 3 races. Since the position you finish in doesn’t matter you can always slow down some to keep a bunch of cars infront of you if you need to do strikes for example.

Using this method you should get a lot of progress done quickly on your Mastery achievements getting you closer to the Screamer completion. For more of our Screamer guides head down below!
